After
Dark.
The drop we wear out to the gig, the bar, the after-after. Heavyweight, graphic, impossible to lose in the dark because they glow under UV.
Glows under UV
We don't sell socks. We sell arguments — fabricated from cotton, delivered to your ankle, started by strangers on the train.

Mika Alvarez
@mika.knits · Brooklyn
Mika learned to knit during the 2020 lockdown from her grandmother over FaceTime — five years later she runs a two-person studio above a laundromat in Bushwick. Her work pulls from bootleg Yankees caps, corner-store neon, and the chaotic color of weekend farmers markets. Every Alvarez sock starts as a hand-sketched palette swatch before it ever touches a loom.
“I want socks that make strangers on the subway start a fight.”

“The socks you buy when you're too broke for a personality transplant.”
Highsnobiety
“A near-perfect independent marketplace. The product pages alone are worth the site visit.”
It's Nice That
“Finally, an e-commerce site that remembers e-commerce is allowed to be fun.”

A sock takes 60 hours, three rooms, and a lot of bad coffee.
STEP 01
Sketch
Every design starts as hand-drawn swatches. No Procreate, no AI, no exceptions.
STEP 02
Yarn
Deadstock, recycled cotton, or merino from a single certified mill. Always documented.
STEP 03
Knit
One machine per design. Runs of 40–120 pairs. When they're gone, they're gone.
STEP 04
Ship
Packed by the designer or their studio. Never warehoused. Sometimes there's a note.
