· The Story ·
Lalo gathers the mango skins himself every Saturday from the Vila Madalena municipal market. Each batch makes 40 pairs.
· Description ·
Botanical-dyed crew sock in a warm ochre that shifts pair-to-pair. No two are identical. All yarn is pulled from deadstock t-shirt factories.
· Material ·
100% reclaimed cotton, plant-dyed
Care: Cold hand wash only. The dye will soften with age — that's the point.

· Meet the maker ·
São Paulo textile artist working exclusively with recycled yarn and botanical dyes.
Lalo runs a micro-mill inside a repurposed bakery in Vila Madalena, where he sources yarn from deadstock t-shirt factories across São Paulo state. Everything is dyed with mango skin, beetroot, or avocado pits — which means no two pairs are identical. He donates 12% of every sale to Instituto Alana.

Every pair really is different.
Bought three and they are all slightly different shades of ochre. That is the entire point and it rules.
