· The Story ·
Inspired by the analog static of the CRT TV in Mika's first apartment. The jacquard pattern took eleven revisions to stop looking like a mistake.
· Description ·
Low-cut ankle sock with a TV-static distortion pattern. The kind of sock that looks best half-hidden under a rolled-up chino.
· Material ·
72% organic cotton, 24% polyamide, 4% elastane
Care: Cold wash. Air dry to preserve the pattern.

· Meet the maker ·
Brooklyn-based knitter obsessed with glitched gradients and late-90s bodega signage.
Mika learned to knit during the 2020 lockdown from her grandmother over FaceTime — five years later she runs a two-person studio above a laundromat in Bushwick. Her work pulls from bootleg Yankees caps, corner-store neon, and the chaotic color of weekend farmers markets. Every Alvarez sock starts as a hand-sketched palette swatch before it ever touches a loom.
